Frieze Seoul

Frieze Seoul returns to COEX from September 4-7, 2024. Featuring over 110 of the most influential galleries from across Asia and beyond, explore exciting contemporary artists alongside historic art in the acclaimed Frieze Masters section. In the Focus Asia section dedicated to galleries 12 years or younger, discover groundbreaking emerging artists from the continent, plus curated sections, activations, pop-up restaurants and more. In partnership with the Galleries Association of Korea, the fair will celebrate Seoul’s thriving creative community with an unmissable week of events and activations held throughout the city.

  • • At Frieze Seoul 2024, explore an expanded programme of curatorial initiatives, including the introduction of Frieze Live, a new section for performance-based art, the second iteration of the Frieze Seoul Artist Award – for which Korean sculptor Choi Goen will present a significant new commission at the fair – and a talks series. The fair’s celebrated Frieze Masters section will showcase historical art from Asia and around the world, whilst Focus Asia brings together the best emerging talents from the region.
    • Frieze Film, Frieze Music and collaborations with key non-profits take place in venues across Seoul during Frieze Week, which also sees late events at Seoul’s galleries and the opening of several major institutional shows in the city.
